The complete photo club management platform
An operating system for camera clubs
From entry submissions to live judging nights, season rankings to judge directories - Prism handles every detail so your club can focus on what matters: the photographs.
Free for small clubs - no card, nothing to cancel
Instant preview - no signup needed
From the first entry submission to the final awards night, Prism keeps your season running smoothly.
Drive your competition night from a single screen. Entries display in sequence, scores are recorded in real time, and results are published the moment judging ends.
Invite an external judge by email or a copy-and-paste link, and assign them only the classes they're judging - nothing else in Prism is visible to them. They review entries one at a time on their own screen, in their own time, scoring and adding notes as they go. Everything autosaves, so they can close the tab and pick up exactly where they left off. When they mark a class complete, your chosen organiser is notified and you lock it for the night.
Invite a judge to follow the competition night remotely instead of scoring in advance. Their screen shows exactly the image the runner is currently displaying, updating automatically as the night progresses - useful alongside a phone or video call for spoken critique.
Members drag all their entries at once - one card per image, each with its own title. The system checks grade limits and warns if too many are added, before a single click submits them all.
Full results with scores, grade breakdowns, and image thumbnails published immediately after judging. Shareable results links let you spread the word beyond the club.
Chronological leaderboards by class, with themed and exhibition competitions automatically separated so they don't distort rankings. Updated after every competition.
The full season calendar in one place: competitions, speaker evenings, external events, and socials. Always up to date, always easy to find.
Maintain your membership list, assign grades for PDI and Print, and track who has entered what. Import directly from your existing Excel membership spreadsheet.
Every member gets their own private library of images. Upload once and enter into competitions directly, with no re-uploading needed.
A full directory of judges and speakers with contact details, availability, and topics. Import directly from federation handbooks with a single PDF upload.
Blind committee voting - members score 1–10 privately, nobody sees the standings until the chairman closes voting. Results reveal a ranked list; the chairman ticks the final selection and publishes it to the club in one click. Download the selected images as a ZIP ready to submit.
Any set of images you can pull up in Prism can be downloaded as a contact sheet PDF: a filtered search, a competition round, a member's work, or a whole external competition bank. Choose portrait or landscape, how many across and how many down, and whether the title and the photographer print under each frame. Take just the images, just the contact sheet, or both.
Members scan a QR code and vote from their phones in real time. Everyone can stay on the club Wi-Fi: Prism's venue-scale voting has been tested with 100 voting devices sharing one connection across a 100-image competition, with more than 10,000 vote submissions including corrections. Each phone gets its own secure vote, only the photograph on screen can be scored, a member can change their mind until the runner moves on, and votes are private. Use it seriously: audience votes are blended with the judge's score (you set the weighting from 0% to 100%, including a straight 50/50), contributing directly to the year's rankings. Or use it for informal members' evenings: a designated member leads the judging and critique, while the full room responds with their own scores - broader feedback than a single judge, and a genuine opportunity to develop judging and critiquing skills in a relaxed setting. Either way, the image on your phone tends to look noticeably better than the projected version: OLED screens at arm's length reveal colour, shadow detail, and sharpness that even an expensive projector across a dark room cannot match.
Two-factor authentication on any account, using any standard authenticator app, with administrator-led reset and a full audit trail of every reset. Role-based access controls keep member data visible only to those who need it, enforced in the database and not just hidden in the interface.
Download a complete, self-contained competition pack before you leave for the venue: a full-screen HTML slideshow, per-grade score sheets, and shuffled image folders - everything you need if the internet drops on the night.
Duplicate an upcoming, closed or judged competition containing submitted photographs into an isolated rehearsal snapshot with its own voting code, ready to run again. Later changes to the real competition don't sync to the rehearsal. Test judge invitations, pre-scoring, remote live judging, QR voting and the full night-of workflow safely - a rehearsal never appears in your real competition lists, standings, results, image banks or public results, and never touches the real photographs' library records. Reset it and run it as many times as you like, then delete it when you're confident.
Already running competitions elsewhere? Point Prism at a Dicentra export folder and it finds every competition in it, with entries, scores, photographers and images. PhotoEntry zips work too, reading the title, photographer and class straight from the filenames, and there is a CSV route for anything else. A step-by-step guide walks you through it. Imported history never counts towards your plan - it is your club's past, not use of the software.
Prism runs entirely in the browser on Mac or PC - no application to download or install. If the laptop running the night breaks five minutes before it starts, any other computer that can open a browser and visit prismphoto.club is a full replacement, in seconds. Members vote from their own phones separately - that screen is built for it, running the night itself isn't.
One line of code drops a live results and standings widget onto your club's existing website. Members can see the latest scores without logging in, and the embed updates automatically after every competition.
Every page has an AI support assistant that knows Prism inside out. Members and admins can ask questions in plain English and get instant, context-aware answers - no digging through documentation.
A print night works nothing like a projected one, so Prism does not pretend otherwise. Handlers take a print off the stand and read out its title; the marker finds it in a thumbnail grid, the judge calls a score, and it is recorded before the print moves on. Nothing advances on its own and nothing is chosen for you, because the next print is chosen physically. A score is only ever shown as saved once the server has it, and a competition cannot be published while one is still unsaved.
Not every photographer belongs to a camera club. An independent account gets the same portfolio: your own private image library, collections, appearance controls and a public page at prismphoto.club/p/yourname. Up to 50 photographs, free for two years from the day you confirm your email, with no card and nothing that turns into a payment on its own.
An opt-in personal showcase for every member, built from photographs already in Prism - your Image Bank, or your own judged competition entries. Arrange them into named collections, add a short biography, choose a hero photograph and set the focal point of any image so it crops the way you intended, and pick a background colour (Prism works out the text colour so it stays readable). Publish at your own prismphoto.club/p/yourname address. Keep it a draft while you work, share it by link only, or make it public - and change your mind whenever you like.
A real competition, from first entry to final score.

Competition night display
Full-screen entry display with real-time score entry and live audience voting. Everything the admin needs on one screen.

Instant results
Published the moment judging ends. Scores, thumbnails, histogram, and grade rankings - all in one shareable page.

Entry submission
Drag all entries at once. Size, colour profile, and grade limits checked before a single click submits them all.

Season standings
Live leaderboard by class, updated after every competition. Members know exactly where they stand.

Audience voting
Members vote from their phones by scanning a QR code, all on the venue Wi-Fi. Score buttons appear as each image is displayed, only the photograph on screen can be scored, and the image on your phone will look better than the projector.
Prism isn't just a tool for committee members to manage competitions - it's a personal record that every member builds automatically, season after season. You'll never need to wonder what you entered last year, or what score a particular image received.
Your complete entry history
Every image you've ever entered, with the score it received, the grade you were in, and the competition it appeared in. Searchable, browsable, always there.
See how your photography is improving
Your average score across each season at a glance. Trends, comparisons against your grade, and your discipline split - PDI vs Print - all computed automatically.
Know exactly where you stand
Live season standings updated the moment judging ends. See your rank within your class and how far ahead - or behind - the next position is.
Your personal image bank
Upload your best work once and enter from your library, nominate images for external competitions, and build a collection that reflects your whole body of work.
See every image as it was meant to be seen
While each entry is on screen, your phone shows you the same image at full quality. The OLED display you're holding inches from your face will reveal colour accuracy, shadow detail, and sharpness that the projector at the front of the room simply can't reproduce. It's one of those things you have to see to believe.
"How many times have I entered that image? Where did it score?"
Questions every member has asked. Prism answers them instantly - not just for admins, but for every single member, on any device.
100%
of results accessible to all members immediately after judging
0
emails needed to find out your score or check an entry deadline
No duplicate entries
Prism automatically detects when a member tries to submit an image they've already entered - even if it's been resized or reprocessed - using perceptual fingerprinting. Club rules, enforced automatically.
Most photo clubs manage their competitions by juggling email, spreadsheets, shared drives, and makeshift slideshows. Prism replaces all of it. One login for members. One screen for competition night. One platform that remembers everything.
The old way
Scattered across multiple apps
Hours of admin per competition - before the judging even starts
The Prism way
Everything in one platform
99% less admin time

Members submit their work
Each member uploads their JPEG entries through their own login. Size and colour profile are checked on the way in.
Run the live judging session
On competition night, each image is displayed in sequence. The judge scores in real time while members vote from their phones - and each member's screen shows the image at full quality, often sharper and more colour-accurate than the projected view.
Results published instantly
The moment judging closes, full results go live - scores, rankings, and images accessible to every member.
Supports scored and graded judging formats
PDI and Print competitions in the same platform
Real-time member voting alongside judge scores
